Dear Steering Committe Members,

As you remember, we agreed to have a steering committee meeting the Monday evening of our MCAN conference.  I am open to suggestions but propose we eat together a nice quiet restaurat with a small meeting room.  The Reception and Vendors Booths ends at 6:00 p.m.  Shall we begin at 6:30?  I will post a draft agenda.  Items so far include: feedback on conference, review of July Planning Session notes, committee reports, and discussion of immediate next steps including our next meeting..  Please let me know if you have addition items or thoughts to share.

  Also, Commissioner Sheila Stearns has agreed to join the Steering Committee towards the end of our dinner meeting to visit with us  about MCAN.  I will send out a separate message soliciting your input on things that you think the Steering Committee should discuss with the Commissioner.  Thanks everyone.  Special thanks to Kelly and the SAF staff and conference committee.  Let's keep encouraging people to attend this great first conference!  Remember, you can always reach me at 459-3484 or rdubay@montana.edu.
